Available Access Keys

General Site Navigation
  • Main Content = 1
  • Sub Content = 2 (information boxes, eg: Tips for Downloading Forms)
  • Main Navigation = 3 (links to pages, eq: Home, Registration, etc)
  • Sub Navigation = 4 (links site tools, eg: Login, Search, etc)
  • Accessibility Mode = 5 (switches to a more accessible version of the site and back)

Main Navigation and Sub Navigation menu items have been assigned the following access keys. They are all letters dervied from a word in the menu item, eg: Home = h . This letter is underlined in a similar way to application menu items:

Using accesskeys in different web browsers

Most web Browsers

Press Alt (on PC) or Ctrl (on Mac) simultaneously with the access key character.

Mozilla Firefox 2.0 (changed from previous versions)

Press Alt + Shift followed by the access key character. (This setting is configurable via about:config)

Opera

Press Shift + Esc followed by the access key character.

Konqueror (Linux)

Press Ctrl then release, and then the access key character.
