COVID-19 Restrictions for NSW

Greater Sydney restrictions now apply until 11.59 pm Friday 30 July and are available from the NSW Government website COVID-19 rules.

Importantly, people employed to provide veterinary services are considered to be authorised workers.

Authorised workers who live in or are staying in the Fairfield local government area and work outside this area must have a COVID-19 test every 3 days.  You must show proof of tests when asked by your manager at work or a police officer.

Authorised workers who live in the Fairfield, Liverpool or Canterbury Bankstown local government areas do not need to get a COVID-19 test before going to work in the local government area in which they live.
