The term of the previous Board expired 30 June 2015.  The new Board was officially appointed 11 August 2015 and comprises four new members and four returning members:

New members:

• Dr Julia Beatty from the University of Sydney has been appointed to represent academics in the field of veterinary science
• Mrs Wendy Cochrane has been appointed to represent consumers of veterinary services
• Dr Steven Ferguson has been appointed as one of two veterinarians selected by the Minister
• Dr Kylie Parry has been appointed to represent veterinarians practising in rural areas

Returning members:

• Dr Georgina Child has been re-appointed to represent specialist veterinarians
• Mrs Lisa Minogue has been re-appointed to represent consumers of veterinary services
• Dr Ian Russ has been re-appointed to represent veterinarians in urban areas
• Dr John Mark Simpson has been re-appointed as one of two veterinarians selected by the Minister
