Racing NSW: Licence Notice 02 July 2015

The Board has received notification that Racing NSW has implemented Local Rule 82C of the Rules of Racing.  Any veterinary practitioner working with thoroughbred horses in training or competition in NSW is now required by Racing NSW to hold a licence issued by Racing NSW from 1 August 2015

OLG: NSW Companions Animal Register - limited services 26 June 2015

Office of Local Government

Planned temporary reduction in service level of NSW Companion Animals Register

The Office of Local Government advises that access to the NSW Companion Animals Register will be read-only from 17:00 on Friday, 3 July 2015 to 09:00 on Monday, 6 July 2015; no new data entries will be possible during this time.

The temporary reduction in service level will enable essential system maintenance to be undertaken.

The online Annual Return submissions facility is now available. Please find the link on your profile page after you log in. It is below the payment link.

VPB: Annual Returns for 2015 Update 06 May 2015

Unfortunately we are still experiencing some difficulties with online Annual Return submissions.  This facility should be available the during the week of 11 May 2015. 

Online payments using the Vet Login or your website reference number (from the renew registration page) are both available.

VPB: Annual Renewals for 2015 01 May 2015

This year notices for registration renewals and hospital licence renewals will be emailed as well as posted.  The emailed invoices will enable you to more easily pay fees and submit the Annual Return online.  The website will be available for processing payments and Annual Returns from Wednesday 6 May.

The registration renewal fee is $275.  The emailed invoice will contain a link to the Vet Login to assist you in submitting your payment and Annual Return online.  There is also a link to the payments page to allow others to make the payment for you...

VPB: Reports of alleged fraud on veterinary practices 11 February 2015

A veterinarian has recently been targeted by a scam similar to the Hearing impaired Tow Truck scam as outlined on the Dept of Commerce site in http://www.commerce.wa.gov.au/announcements/wa-mechanic-conned-deaf-scammer.

This scammer organises some veterinary work and then sends emails.
