Roadmap and COVID Safety Plans

 

Changes to the roadmap this week now mean more businesses can reopen with increased capacity limits from Monday 11 October.


The 3 stages of reopening NSW are:

 

  1. 70% full vaccination target reopening starts for people who are fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption – from Monday 11 October. 
  2. 80% full vaccination target further easing of restrictions for people who are fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
  3. Wednesday 1 December opening up NSW for everyone.

 

Update your COVID-19 Safety plan


You need to ensure your business’ safety plan aligns with each stage of the reopening roadmap. 


Complete your industry specific safety plan and keep a copy at your place of business to show if asked by an authorised person.

Proof of vaccination signage and guidance


From 11 October, all non-essential businesses will need people aged 16 and over to show proof of vaccination or have a medical exemption when visiting their premises.
