Reception at Government House 26 February 2024

Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted a reception to celebrate the centenary of the modern veterinary profession in NSW Monday 26 February 2024 at Government House.
The Board would like to thank the Vice Regal couple for hosting this event and all those who attended for joining in this celebration.
The President, Steven Ferguson, marked the occasion with the announcement of the Centenary Awards and the formation of the Centenary Committee, chaired by Emeritus Professor Paul Canfield. The members of this Committee, Paul Canfield, Ruth Thompson, Deborah Neutze, Mark Lawrie and Anne Quain, have drafted a timeline to chronicle the major achievements of the profession over the last 100 years.
This committee will now move on to determine recipients of the Centenary Awards who will be announced in June.
