Taronga Veterinary Professional Training in Wildlife Treatment & Care

Registrations for intake 2 of the Taronga Veterinary Professional Training in Wildlife Treatment & Care are now open.

This course is aimed at veterinarians and veterinary nurses and focused at improving the knowledge and skills of veterinary staff related to wildlife triage, first aid, treatment and care.

There are NSW Government subsidised positions if veterinary professionals fulfil all of the following selection criteria:

• Australian citizens or permanent residents

• qualified and registered veterinarians or veterinary nurses

• residing and practising in NSW

• working in veterinary clinics or hospitals (not in industries or schools)

• be nominated for the subsidy by the clinic where they work (only one nomination per clinic will be accepted)

Please note that there are limited subsidised positions available and a maximum of one subsidy per clinic.

Unfortunately, Taronga cannot guarantee veterinary professionals will be awarded a subsidy even if they meet all the selection criteria as demand may exceed available positions.
