CPD: Free Webinar

Supporting animals and people experiencing domestic and family violence

This free webinar will provide an overview of how to support animals and people experiencing domestic and family violence and abuse (DFVA). It will also provide information about services you can refer animals and people to for help. This includes 1800 RESPECT, NSW Domestic Violence Line and the RSPCA Community Domestic Violence Program.

This training has been developed by Lucy’s Project, a not-for-profit organisation that raises awareness of the link between DFVA and animal abuse. It is aligned to the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW’s Guidance Note and the Australian Veterinary Association Policy on Animal Abuse and DFVA.
