FMD Veterinary Webinar

The NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Sarah Britton, hosted a one-hour webinar on foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) for veterinarians on Tuesday August 2, 2022. Topics included:

  • an update on national FMD preparedness activities
  • an overview of the disease process
  • what to do if samples need to be submitted (including calling the EAD hotline 1800 675 888)
  • how to interact with the lab at EMAI
  • where vet skills are needed in a response and how vets can be involved.

Many thanks for taking the time to participate in the webinar. As previously advised, you can access the webinar recording via: https://youtu.be/V3fIKgnWqjs
